Lacquered boxes
Our lacquer boxes are hand painted by skilled artists with the aid of a strong magnifying lens. The boxes feature hand-drawn miniature paintings based on a variety of themes. Some of these include fairy tales, poems, country life, Cossacks, landscapes, battle scenes, and old art masterpieces. Most of the boxes are trimmed with gold or aluminum. The interiors of the boxes are done in red lacquer. Each box is finished with layers of clear lacquer.
